Haven’t you heard so many things about Hong Kong? It nearly feels like it is the New York of Asia, doesn’t it?
Well I had the chance to visit and can only say it is definitely a must-see city!
Besides the cheapest Michelin starred restaurant in the world, Hong Kong also includes the highest bar of the world.
The Ozone Bar is situated on the 118th floor in the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Not enought that you have to go up 118 floors, but you also have to do this over two separated elevators.
There is a minimum charge of 150 HKD a person for entering, but as the cocktails start at this price, there is no risk on loosing any money.
Yes it is pricey, especially for Hong Kong, but for good and special cocktails in the highest bar of the world I think it is a price that is worth it, maybe not for every weekend… but for a once-in-a-lifetime it definitely is!
The bar is just beautiful ! Highly elegant and modernistic designs mixed up with anatomic shapes.
The view is AMAZING, unfortunately only when the weather allows it. In this hight it can get easily very dizzy and cloudy, so that there is no way that you can see far enough to enjoy the view, it is even possible, that you end up being in the middle of a cloud, which is an experience for itself!
Who of you is wondering what to wear to such a special occasion and beautiful place, here are our outfits:
A long, elegant black dress and a shorter sheath dress with a special print and some sparkly parts.
My conclusion is, the place is definitely worth a visit, not only to see the view, but to enjoy the artistic bar itself. The cocktails are delicious and the staff is very friendly.
And come on, who of your friends can say that they have been in the highest bar of the world?
BeSparkling!

thanks for coming by!
Loved HK – it’s fun to read your posts and see how you felt the same about certain things. Street food? I would rather die.
Going to Michelin restaurants for the first time ever was a personal highlight! I think I’m addicted now.
