Top Grenada hotels, that are worth a visit

Grenada Hotels

If you are into a secluded beach getaway, Grenada is your place. I visited this beautiful island a few months ago, and what I liked most about this place is that it has a lot of privacy and tranquility to offer. Though it is not so popular amongst tourists, take my word, it is worth a visit.

The Caribbean are well-reputed for the picturesque beaches, and Grenada is no different. Also known as the island of spices in the Caribbean, Grenada draws the interest of its visitors towards its lively coastal towns and classic white sanded beaches.

It has excellent waves and weather for watersports and vital sources of ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. You may find several places outside your hotel/resort that partake in activities like Scuba Diving, surfing, and more that you could explore. Each island could offer so much, and you could select your Grenada retreat based on the activities you have in your itinerary.

This article was written in cooperation with “Pura Grenada“. However, every recommendation is still 100% my honest opinion.

While traveling to a destination, I consider a few factors for picking a convenient hotel accommodation facility for me. What works for me is the central location of the hotel so that I may reach the attractions or access transport easily, spacious and clean rooms, hotel facilities, the food, and of course, the friendly behaviour of the staff. In this article, I will share my insights on the best hotels in Grenada, including the luxuries Grenada resorts, all-inclusive facilities, exclusive boutique hotels, and budget hotels. You can pick one of my Grenada accommodation according to your own budget and preferences.

My favorites: The best Grenada Hotels at a glance

1. Spice Island Beach Resort

Grenada Hotels

First up in our list of Grenada hotels is Spice Island Beach Resort. When I was searching for the best hotels in Grenada, I observed that the Spice Island Beach Resort had earned the most positive reviews. It is located in the middle of the Grand Anse Beach that fulfills its guests with an upscale and polished vibe, which is a true essence of the laid-back Caribbean charm.

Esther’s bar and Morne Rouge are popular Grenada attractions that are a few miles away from this Spice Island Hotel Grenada.

Its rooms and suites are decorated in a contemporary style. Its world-class facilities include a luxurious spa, spectacular pool area, fitness center, children activity center, water sports facilities, tennis court, free WIFI, and two amazing restaurants. I stayed here four nights and enjoyed free breakfasts, premium drinks, and confectioneries from the stocked minibars. It is a nice option to pick when traveling with family.

2. Silversands Grenada

It is an absolute business and luxury hotel in Grenada that won my heart! The Silversands Grenada is definitely one of the best hotels in the Caribbean.

I stayed here for two nights and loved the experience. Silversands Grenada is rather a new setup that boasts simplicity and exceptional service together with luxury. It stands on the prime location of the Grand Anse Beach and sprawls exactly over two hundred meters of the beachfront.

This Grenada accommodation has a total of 52 guest rooms, decorated in a minimalist style. It has ocean-view rooms, hill-side villas with a private pool, family rooms, and exclusive suites.

Grenada Hotels

When I checked into my room, I found the most beautiful room! The stylish and modern interior, the direct view to the balcony from the bed, the super large bathroom. I was simply in love and so glad that I was going to stay the last nights in this resort.

One thing I can not leave out is the impressive luxury swimming pools — they even have a 330 meters long swimming pool. This hotel in Grenada has the largest swimming pool in the entire Caribbean. I’m not completely certain whether or not they have the function of heating this pool. Although a pool this massive might need more than one inverter swimming pool heat pump to heat it up properly.

With this high class it is not to mention, but you will also find a fitness center, and two high-end restaurants; Asiatique and the Grenadian Grill. One add on not to miss: The Spa. The place is extremely stylish and offers the most relaxing atmosphere, additionally I had one of my best massages ever. It was a tiny Balinese who asked me to follow him into my spa room. I do love balinese massages and his with a little twist was just amazing!

I tried the Grenadian’s fresh seafood at the Grenadian Grill and Asian food at Asiatique. The taste was out of the world, and the ambiance was lovely. Silversands is one of the best hotels in Grenada. I can only highly recommend it.

3. Calabash Hotel Grenada – a Luxury Boutique Hotel

The next hotel in my list is another luxurious boutique-style Grenada Hotel Grand Anse Beach, which is Calabash Luxury Boutique hotel. What I loved the most about this place is its serene and peaceful environment. Its contemporary styled suites are beautiful and well-appointed. Some suites even feature private plunge pools.

A fitness center, water sports center, a tennis court, two top-notch restaurants, a clean and broad swimming pool, and an upscale spa are its main property amenities. The staff is friendly as well.

In my room of the Calabash hotel Grenada, there was an air conditioner, a flat-screen TV, and a minibar full of treats. One thing that I did not approve of is that most of the rooms lack ocean views. If you prefer a self-catering option, this boutique hotel is right for you.

4. Sandals Grenada

Grenada Hotels

Sandals Grenada is another all-inclusive accommodation option in my picks of Grenada hotels that is a hip, luxurious adult-friendly that you can pick when you are traveling with a bunch of friends to party much in Grenada or for your perfect romantic honeymoon.

Located on Pink Gin Beach, it features ten restaurants, broad swimming pools, lush sitting area on the sand, spa, fitness center, and scuba diving facilities.

Now here are three things that I will recommend you to experience if you decide to stay in the Sandals:

The Sushi

Sushi lovers will be delighted to visit the Soy Sushi Bar at Sandals, which is known for serving the freshest sushi every single day. The staff here is quite friendly and makes sure to serve the guests the best. To please your palettes, even more, do not forget to combine the sushi with a glass of champaign.

The exclusive swim-up bar

The party pool, hip music, great ambiance, and out-of-the-world swim-up bar are hard to miss at the Sandals. However, if you want a more intimate party, you have private pools that tends to be separated from the others with secure Pool Fencing. You can also have fun at beach-side pools.

The Pink Gin Beach

It is an absolutely lovely place to bask in the sun and lounge near the ocean.

5. Mount Cinnamon Resort

Grenada Hotels

Mount Cinnamon is a small and friendly boutique-style hotel. It houses a bar, a restaurant, and a plush lounger on the sand. You can play shuffleboards and croquet in its lovely lush green gardens. Again, just like other Grenada hotels, you will find here a beachfront spa, water sports facilities, a tennis court, an in-house restaurant serving the best Italian food, and a fitness center.

What I absolutely loved in my room was a full-sized kitchen equipped with a full range of appliances and a broad veranda. 10/10 for this refined luxury stop in Grenada.

6. Coyaba Beach Hotel Grenada

Grenada Hotels

The last in my list is a budget Grenada Hotel Grand Anse Beach. This traditionally dressed architecture boasts a low-height building established over the five acres of lush green grounds. It features casual beachfront rooms and a peaceful atmosphere.

You will find a flat-screen TV, an air conditioner, and a refrigerator in the room, while the property amenities include an on-site dive center, three bars, two restaurants, free WIFI, a swimming pool, and a swim-up bar. You will also get free laundry service, which means you do not have to take your dirty clothes back home. The food is fine here, and you can often enjoy live music along with your dinner in this Coyaba Hotel Grenada.
