Milan Fashion Week S/S 2016

Just another 30 minutes and my flight boarding will start. Since six months haven’t been in Milan, but September Women’s Fashion Week – I can’t miss that!

It is the perfect excuse to jump into an airplane and go to visit all my friends in my second hometown-Milano.

During this time of the year the city has a special flavour. Wherever you look you can find beautiful people with the best dresses that the market has to offer. I am doing my best to stay behind all the clothing from amazing designers also if my purse doesn’t permit that range of dresses – yet 😉

Have a look what I’ve decided to wear and to which Events and Show’s I have been!

THURSDAY

My first day: ‘Welcome back to my second home town – Milano 😊’

The first day is always the busiest. Running from one presentation to another we managed to arrange a relaxed dinner with beautiful live music in the Restaurant Memo. The official opening was only on Friday, but these guys made it us possible anyway to enjoy the food and the music here the day before.

Thursday night Byblos had organised its Fashion Show and directly afterwards its party in the same named Club in Milan.

Here is what I decided to wear for my first evening vent on MFW this year.

The black dress is from mango and the hairstyle is a mix of the two IN-styles for the next season: Curly hair and straight bangs.

SATURDAY

It was a sunny day in Milan and beside the Events of the MFW, I jumped from one coffee with friends, to lunch and to another coffee appointment in the afternoon.

In the evening I had the invitation to the Grinko Fashion Show in the Scalene Arengario. A beautiful space directly next to the main signal of Milan: The Duomo.

After the show we went to have dinner in one of my favourite Restaurants in Milan: La Cantinetta. If you love meat, this is not a place anyone should miss out. The best “Tagliata” I have eaten in Milan so far, and also the meat with Cognac-pepper sauce is simply unbelievable.

It was getting colder in the night and as I have been around the city already for the whole day I decided to go with these funky trousers from Reserved, the white elegant jacket from Mango and the beautiful alt rose coloured clutch from Mulberry.

My nails had a special treatment in these days and to add a little more sparkle to this Fashion Week experience I used this silver nail lack from &Other Stories.

It was simple to remove and stayed through out the whole days without any retouch !

SUNDAY

Sunday was my favourite Fashion Show of this season, the show of Ferragamo. He used minimalistic cuts and mixed them with elegant and feminine styles and elements to a truly unique and beautiful collection.

The Sunday was in general a great day of the Fashion Week including not only Ferragamo, but also Trussardi and Missoni.

I also found the time to have a quick look at the new shoe collection from Chiara Ferragni and was positively surprised. She really had created a more experiential presentation than many others before her.

My hair for this day was all straight, the style of the new season ! The shirt is Vintage, the skirt is from Lipsy London, the shoes are from the Highline Outlet in Milan, San Babila from the brand Exit, and the gloves are from H&M.

MONDAY

This was my last day in Milan was quite busy and I didn’t have the chance to attend all the events I wanted because I had my flight already leaving at 4pm.

My outfit though wasn’t showing the lack of time I had !

Pumps from Aldo, dress from Zara and high pushed hair back to a ponytail.

I am already counting the days for the February Fashion Week in Milan !

Do you like my outfits? Here you can find them all!

Best, Be-Sparkling!
